Global Disaster inherent in Israel/US Agenda against Iran
The problem is that the world's average 'Joe Bloggs' doesn't appreciate the catastrophic dangers inherent in the proposed aggression by Israel and/or the US by their current and threatened actions against Iran.
The only state that could benefit would be Israel at the expense of virtually the entire international community. The consequences of a military and/or economic attack against Iran are profound for both the global economy and for political stability in the Middle East. The threat of disruption of oil supplies alone could cause economic collapse to many states around the world whilst the probable use of nuclear weapons by Israel to maintain her hegemony in the region would be incalculable.
Professor Juan Cole seems to be one of the very few to view the reality of current thinking and events as portending possible global disaster. But, like the captain of the RMS Titanic, will the leaders of the free world continue on their dangerous course, unwilling or unable to appreciate the consequences of the economic and political iceberg they are on course to hit?
